Hello! My name is Melvin but you may call me Mel or Punk. My fursona is a red fox named Punk. I am a 25 year old guy who lives in North Carolina.

I made my first DeviantART account and "became a furry" when I was just 11. I've changed accounts a few times since then, I made this one when I first came out as trans as a fresh start.

Between the ages of like 11 and 19 I would draw CONSTANTLY. When I was in school I filled a whole stack of sketch books. But since the age of 20 I've had this awful thing called a "job" that sucks my soul out and took my motivation to create. Plus I have friends now so I rather go hang out with them LOL I originally frequented DA bcs I had no irl friends. Being a "furry" isn't really who I am anymore. At one point in highschool I tried to stop drawing them but just love the art and my characters too much. So now it's a guilty pleasure. I still follow a lot of furry artists and fursuiters on social media but have no desire to be part of the community, fursuit or go to cons or any of that. I just want to appreciate the art, use it as inspiration for my own and draw my silly lil fox sometimes.

Anyways! Enough of the rambling. I just wanted to tell ya'll my ~lore~

Other random stuff about me I guess: I am a cashier at a movie/music store. I sew. I was in college for a lil bit and am trying to go back to get my license to do hair. I have a lot of tattoos and was apprenticing as a tattoo artist for a lil bit. I don't drink but I LOVE to go out to karaoke night with my friends. Although I'm not great at singing. I am a trans man, pansexual and ambiamorous. I am very extraverted and an insomniac.
